Thijs is an Investment Manager in the PGGM Infrastructure team primarily focused on the Transport sector. Within the team, he is i.a. responsible for deal origination, process management and execution and part of the asset management team for various equity investments within the wider infra portfolio.
Thijs joined PGGM in 2022, prior to PGGM he worked for Aquila Capital in the Clean Energy Investment Team focusing on direct equity investments, asset (re-)structuring and financing within the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, battery storage and hydro). Before that, he gained buy-side and sell-side M&A experience at CRH and ING.
Thijs is a CFA charterholder and holds a MSc Finance and a MSc Economics degree from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
